What age groups ARE the basketball summer camp designed for?

Our camp caters to a diverse range of age groups, typically spanning from 7 to 16 years old (2nd to 8th grade).
We run skill level based training that covers the range from first time players all the way to competitive AAU players.

What skills will my child learn at the camp?

Our program focuses on both fundamental and advanced basketball skills, including dribbling, shooting, passing, teamwork, and game strategies. We will work on footwork, dribble moves/combos/counters, finishing, on- and off- ball defensive and offensive positioning and decision making, basketball IQ, 1v1 / 3v3 / 5v5 scrimmages. We also emphasize a strong work ethic, both physically and mentally. Activities are tailored based on age and skill levels.

Are there any prerequisites for attending the camp?

No prerequisites are required. The camp welcomes players of all skill levels, from beginners to more experienced individuals. Players will be grouped into cohorts based on their skill level so that they can develop the fundamentals to move into competitive play.

What is the coach-to-player ratio at the camp?

We maintain a low coach-to-player ratio, ensuring personalized attention and quality instruction. The ratio typically averages 1:8-12.

What are elite camps?

Elite camps are for athletes who have reached a competitive skill level and should have minimum of 2-3+ years of team experience.

What should my child bring to the camp?

Participants should come dressed in comfortable athletic wear, wear basketball shoes, bring a water bottle, and provide any necessary medical information. Bring your own ball — for grades 6th and under, we use 28.5 size balls. For grades 7 and above, we use size 29.5 balls. We recommend you label your player’s ball.

Is lunch provided, or should my child bring their own?

Depending on the camp, we may or may not provide lunch options. This information will be specified in the camp registration information. Additionally, we recommend including extra snacks to keep them energized throughout the day.

Can parents watch the camp activities?

Absolutely, parents are encouraged to observe the camp activities. We may also organize special events or games where parents can participate.

What safety measures are in place during the camp?

Ensuring the safety of our participants is our top priority. We have trained staff and have put emergency protocols in place to maintain a secure environment.

Is financial assistance or scholarships available for the camp?
